Kakutogi! Week 13, 2012

This week has three MMA events to look out for.

In Japan on April 1st Pancrase will make another stop on their 2012 Passion Tour. The main event is very interesting as Koji Oishi will defend his Lightweight KOP title against Pancrase LWGP 2011 champion ISAO (Kobayashi) whose only career loss came against the champion Oishi. The event will be aired same-day on Samurai TV in Japan with a three-hour slot. Check out the fight card here.

Besides Pancrase there are a couple of smaller RISE and Shooto events as well as a few other smaller Kickboxing promotions (J-Network, J-Girls, etc.) holding events in Japan on the 1st.

Legend FC are holding their eighth event today with the preliminary fights being aired on YouTube for free right now. I posted about broadcast options for the main card earlier today (Ustream outside of the U.S. and PPV in the U.S.).

The biggest card this time is probably the One FC: War of the Lions event in Singapore tomorrow (31st). Check the fight card, which features some very notable Japanese names, below.
